@TESmaths Resource of the Day: 2nd June to 8th June 2014

Each day I select one of my favourite resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Given the transient nature of Twitter, often these wonderful resources can be missed, and that makes me very sad šŸ™ So, I have decided that each Sunday eveningĀ I will list the resources that have been selected to be ROTD in the previous week, so you can always access them. I hope you find this a useful feature.

And of course, all the resources selected are completely free. You just need to register on the TES website to download them. Ā And as ever, a huge thank you to all the teachers who share resources. You make TES what it is šŸ™‚

Monday:Ā Circle Theorem proof posters ā€“ my Year 11s need a copy of these!

Tuesday:Ā a lovely way to spice up the topic of recurring decimalsĀ

Wednesday:Ā do you know what a yottametre is? This is ideal introducing standard formĀ

Thursday:Ā a lovely lesson on experimental probability using dodgy diceĀ

Friday:Ā arithmetic, quadratic, geometric ā€“ all the sequences you could want!Ā

Saturday:Ā from standard form to surds ā€“ a whole bundle of lessons to look at!Ā

Sunday:Ā a wonderful resource for generating starter questions
