@TESMaths Resource of the Day: 27th April to 3rd May

Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Here is a summary of the previous week.

And of course, all the resources selected are completely free. You just need to register on the TES website to download them.  And as ever, a huge thank you to all the teachers who share resources. You make TES what it is :-)

Monday: “Number Cricket” could be adapted for lots of different topics

Tuesday: name & sketch straight lines to catch as many gifts as possible

Wednesday: a lovely treasure hunt revising all the key skills with fractions

Thursday:  a really high quality BIDMAS murder mystery activity

Friday: differentiated resources for practising using the quadratic formula

Saturday: a beautiful ratio activity based on “if the world was a village with 100 people”

Sunday: a full package of resources for teaching the rules of indices
