Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Monday: a really well presented demonstration of surface area of various shapes

Tuesday: this set of “Margin Games” make idea, quick-fire starters 

Wednesday: a lovely “true or false” card set identifying misconceptions in rules of algebra 

Thursday: a set of challenging and engaging difference of two squares activities

Friday: “Which coin is which?” is an engaging look at problem solving and classifying 

Saturday: Dinky King returns, this time tackling probability! 

Sunday: a “thoughts and crosses” activity for the AQA Stats 1 module – ideal rich revision
