Welcome to > parents

As I am sure you know, if parent's can get involved in their child's development of maths, then children's overall understanding and performance at school, as well as their confidence and enjoyment of the subject, can increase significantly. However, parents often tell me that they feel ill informed and distant from their child's learning of maths, or intimidated by whatever new maths they are being taught in schools these days. The aim of this section of the website is to put parents' minds at ease, and hopefully enable you to become more actively involved with your child's mathematical development.

News: A series of notes I have written are now available to download for free, so you can print them out or better still your child can view them on their phone or tablet. Just click here to get them.
