Novels

Contrary to popular belief, Mr Barton's life doesn't totally revolve around numbers (only 99.36% of it). To date, he has written three novels, each of which has nothing whatsoever to do with mathematics. Two are currently available on Amazon's Kindle for bargain prices, and the third is available in traditional print form. For more information, and for some free chapters, click on the links below.

Secrets and Mince Pies
was released in 2011. It is the humorous (I hope) story of a family from the north of England, in the four days leas ding up to Christmas, all of whom have a secret to hide.

Tell me a Story
was also released in 2011. It is the tale of two ordinary nineteen year olds who find themselves having to do the extra ordinary - rob a supermarket

The Cambridge Diaries: A Tale of Friendship, Love and Economics was published in 2006. It is a story of a young northern lad's first year at Cambridge University and is very much based on Mr Barton's own experiences (although Mr Barton's character in the book is slightly funnier and has slightly more success with ladies than the real-life version). Some might say that it is the perfect read for anyone who is off to university, or who wants to know what really goes on at university these days, but I couldn't possibly comment on that.
