@TESMaths Resource of the Day: 3rd to 16th August 2015

Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Here is a summary of the previous fortnight.

Monday: a complete lesson on transformation of graphs

Wednesday: a step-by-step lesson on adding & subtracting fractions

Friday: lovely use of Excel to generate random fractions questions 

Saturday: 3 nice worksheets on nth term linear sequences 

Sunday: a “Tarsia: Convince Me” activity on BIDMAS

 

Monday: really nice PowerPoint on prime factor decomposition

Tuesday: loads of practise of similar shares with PowerPoint and worksheet 

Wednesday: a nice word search of key construction terms 

Thursday: a lovely compound measures crossword to focus on key terms

Friday: nth term linear sequences bingo! 

Saturday: a lovely little BIDMAS crossword 

Sunday: a couple of Minions characters to use of enlargements!
