@TESMaths Resource of the Day: 28th September to 11th October

Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Here is a summary of the previous fortnight.

Monday: investigating symmetry using famous logos

Wednesday: a really well presented inequalities on a number line worksheet 

Thursday: practise operations with fractions with this Build an Army activity 

Friday: practise solving every type of equation with this differentiated resource 

Saturday: essential GCSE practise on length, area and volume questions

Sunday: 26 short, sharp, effective revision cards covering a wide range of topics 

 

Monday: an interactive Excel worksheet to investigate quadratic functions

Tuesday: a truly incredible collection of mathematical treasure hunts 

Wednesday: Quiz, Quiz, Trade on angles in parallel lines and solving equations 

Thursday: I absolutely love these “odd one out” starters! 

Friday: a good selection of exam questions on all aspects of quadratics for GCSE 

Saturday: use speed, distance and time knowledge to get around the world in 80 days 🙂

Sunday: a really well planned 2 lesson series on circle theorems
