@TESMaths Resource of the Day: 14th to 27th September

Each day I select one of my favourite free maths resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Here is a summary of the previous fortnight.

And of course, all the resources selected are completely free. You just need to register on the TES website to download them.  And as ever, a huge thank you to all the teachers who share resources. You make TES what it is  :-)

 

Monday: a complete set of Core 1 questions arranged into topics

Tuesday: can students get 10 points on this solving equations assessment? 

Wednesday: new to GCSE: quadratic inequalities – spot the mistake! 🙂 

Thursday: new to GCSE: trigonometry exact values codebreaker 

Friday: an unbelievable set of free A Level assessments for all modules! 🙂

Saturday: “The Chase” provides a fine way of practising key algebra skills

Sunday: a wonderful set of hands-on activities on polygons and polyhedra 

 

Monday: a sharing in a ratio carousel revision activity 

Tuesday: a wonderful maths twist on the Takeaway Menu homework format 

Wednesday: a nice set of mixed questions on Pythagoras’ Theorem 

Thursday: “Wheel of Fortune” is great for practical probability 

Friday: a really nice investigation into circle theorems 

Saturday: “Algebra Zoo” is a fun way to practise substitution 

Sunday: Practise finding the missing angles in quadrilaterals
