@TESmaths Resource of the Day: 23rd June to 29th June 2014

Each day I select one of my favourite resources that have been uploaded and shared by the generous and incredibly talented users of the TES Maths website and tweet it out via @TESmaths. I call this feature Resource of the Day (ROTD).

Just in case you missed it, here is the selection from the previous week.

And of course, all the resources selected are completely free. You just need to register on the TES website to download them.  And as ever, a huge thank you to all the teachers who share resources. You make TES what it is :-)

Monday: A fascinating look at the link between birth rate and life expectancy

Tuesday: Crime Scene Perimeters – how much tape do you need for each crime?

Wednesday: can your students use BIDMAS to crack the code to open the lock?

Thursday: a complete lesson on plotting quadratic equations

Friday: looking at the area of 2D shapes via the medium of a zoo! 🙂

Saturday: continuing yesterday’s animal theme by rotating a giraffe! 🙂

Sunday: a really nice introduction into Egyptian Fractions
