TES Maths ROTW 27 – Tarsia with Pictures

Those of you who have been following my work for the last several years will know I absolutely love a Tarsia jigsaw. The first ROTW of this current series looked at an innovative way of using Tarsia, and now we have another one!

Adding pictures to your Tarsia jigsaws can be a bit of a pain, but by converting them to a pdf first, it is incredibly straight forward. This then arms you with a whole range of possibilities for increasing the depth of learning, and the levels of engagement of your students. Here we look at one particularly nice use of pictures in a factorising quadratics activity. If this inspires you to make some more, please let me know!

Thank you for sharing!
