**What is it?**

This is a quite simply an indispensable set of resources for your A Level students. Each resource consists of two components: Non Formula Book is a really helpful booklet detailing all the main facts, techniques and formulae that are required for a given module, but not provided in the formula book. Essentials is a single sided document that summarises all the key results, facts and formulae for a given module. Core 1 to 4 are covered in full, along with limited coverage for the Mechanics, Decision and Further Pure modules. These resources are written for students following the AQA specification, but could easily be adapted for use with other specifications.

**How can it be used?**

The obvious thing to do is simply to give these out to the students when you have finished the main teaching of the course and they are beginning to work their way through past papers. You don’t even need to print them out as the pdfs could be emailed to them so they have access on their phones and tablets. Indeed, my Year 13s who are resitting their Core 1 and Core 2 papers this summer are already finding the guides really useful. But what is also nice is encouraging students to use these at home with parents or non-maths specialists friends. It is often difficult to revise for A Level maths with someone else due to the technical nature of the content, however with these resources it is possible for all the friends and family to get involved! Give them the Essentials sheet and get them to read out the start of a sentence or formula, and see if the student revising can complete it. These guides must have taken ages to put together, and my students and I are very grateful!

Thank you for sharing!
